Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated 15 September 2026
This policy explains how engagements can be cancelled, when fees are refundable and how to request a refund. It forms part of the Terms of Service.
1. What is being purchased
All services are professional consulting and research services delivered remotely. No physical goods are shipped and no automated digital downloads are sold. Every engagement is prepared specifically for one client.
2. Cancelling before work begins
You may cancel at any time before research work starts. Any advance payment is refunded in full, with no deduction other than unavoidable bank or payment processor charges.
3. Cancelling while work is in progress
You may cancel an engagement in progress by writing to the email address below. Fees are settled in proportion to the work completed at that point: the portion covering work not yet carried out is refunded, and any completed work is delivered to you in its current state.
4. After delivery
Because research and analysis are prepared individually and cannot be returned or resold, fees for work already delivered are not refundable. If the delivered work does not match the agreed scope, tell me within 14 calendar days of delivery and it will be corrected at no additional cost. One round of revision within the agreed scope is always included.
5. Retainer arrangements
Monthly retainers may be cancelled with 14 days' written notice. The current month is completed and invoiced as normal; any months paid in advance and not started are refunded in full.
6. If I cancel
If an engagement cannot be completed for reasons on my side, everything paid for undelivered work is refunded in full, and any completed material is handed over to you.
7. How to request a refund
- Write to tetianadobrohaieva@gmail.com with the invoice number and the reason for the request.
- You will receive a reply within 5 business days.
- Approved refunds are issued within 10 business days, in USD, to the payment method originally used.
- Bank and payment processor charges on the refund transfer may be deducted.
8. Before disputing a payment
If something has gone wrong, please contact me first. Almost every dispute is resolved faster by email than by a chargeback, and a direct request lets the work be corrected rather than simply reversed.
